This cute little coaster is worked in the round and you will be finished in just 4 rounds!

Materials:
yarn weight 4
cotton yarn
crochet hook size 5.00mm/H
FURLS Streamline Ebony Crochet Hook 5.0 mm H
Yarn needle
Scissors
If you need to check if you have the correct size hook, here is a quick tool for you.
Stitches:
mc = magic circle
dc = double crochet; Yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop,(you have 3 loops on your hook), yarn over and pull through the first 2 loops, yarn over and pull through the last 2 loops.
hdc = half double crochet; yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (you have 3 loops on your hook) yarn over and pull through all three loops at once.
sc = single crochet; insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, (you now have 2 loops on your hook) yarn over and pull through the 2 loops.
Gauge: 8 stitches per 2 inches
4 rows per 2 inches
Finished size: 4 inches from side to side
Make a magic circle
Round 1: 12 dc in the magic circle
Round 2: 2 dc in each stitch around (24 dc total)
Round 3: ch 3(counts as first dc) hdc in the first stitch, sc, dc hdc, sc, *dc hdc, sc, repeat from * (36)
Round 4: ch 3 hdc, sc, sc, *dc hdc, sc, sc, repeat from * (48)
Tie off and weave in your ends. Your coaster is finished.
