My sister found some Premier Yarns Parfait Layers Yarn
on sale the color was called “pistachio”.
When I got this yarn, I knew from working with Chenille type yarn that I wanted to go with a simple stitch that showcased the softness of the yarn. I also didn’t want to worry about having to unravel any messups. No Frogging allowed with this type of yarn!!
This pattern is simple enough that you can crochet while watching your favorite mystery tv show. I like to watch Miss Marple or Father Brown.
And yet the end effect of the blanket is stunning. No big holes for baby’s fingers to get caught in. The yarn was a cake type yarn. I just let the yarn make the stripes for me. I did end my rows with the color however. I didn’t want the colors to end mid-row.
Materials : Premier Yarns Parfait Layers Yarn (about 4 skeins)
Hook: 8.00 MM
