This bobble heart bonnet which I called the little love bonnet is made with one flat piece and then crocheted around the edges. The heart is made with bobble stitches. For bobble stitches, you will want the bobbles to be on the same side, so the row after the bobble will always be no bobbles in this pattern.

Stitches:
SC = single crochet, insert your hook into the loop, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through both loops.
HDC = yarn over insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull through all.
Bobble = yarn over, insert hook into the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through two, yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch, yarn over and pull through two, yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch, yarn over and pull through two, yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch, yarn over and pull through two,yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch, yarn over and pull through two, now you have 6 loops on your hook, yarn over and pull through all 6
DC = Double crochet; yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop (you have 3 on your hook), yarn over and pull through the first two loops, yarn over and pull through the last two loops.
FPDC = Front post double crochet; yarn over, go around the post from the front, yarn over and pull up a loop, (you have 3 on your hook), yarn over and pull through the first two loops, yarn over and pull through the last two loops.
BPDC = Back post double crochet; yarn over, go around the post from the back, yarn over and pull up a loop, (you have 3 on your hook), yarn over and pull through the first two loops, yarn over and pull through the last two loops.

Fold in half with the bobble hearts on the inside.
Sew up the side that has the longer space before the heart, not the side with the short spaces.
Weave in the ends.
Turn right side out.
Join at the corner of one of the front side, sc along the front, put 2 sc in the corner and sc along the bottom, 2 sc in the corner.
Ch 1 and double crochet in each stitch across the front of the bonnet.
Ch 1 fpdc, bpdc, fpdc, bpdc across the front of the bonnet.
At the corner, chain 35, ss into the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc back down the chain, and ss into the front, sc across the bottom, at the next corner, chain 35, ss into the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc down the chain, ss into the front of the hat.
Tie off and weave in the ends.
