Quick and Easy
Looking for a quick and easy pattern for a washcloth? These can be made very fast. Happy Crocheting!
If you are a beginner, I recommend this pattern. It’s good practice and works up quickly. All you need to know are single crochet and chains.

Materials:
Cotton yarn
5.00 MM Hook
Stitches:
sc = single crochet; insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, (you now have 2 loops on your hook) yarn over and pull through both loops.
Ch 28
Row 1: sc in 2rd ch, sc across to the end. ch 1 and turn
Row 2: sc, ch 1 skip 1, sc, ch 1, skip 1, sc in next space, repeat pattern to the end of the row, ch 1 and turn
Row 3: sc, ch 1 skip st, sc in the skip one space from previous row, ch 1, skip st, repeat pattern to the end, ch 1 and turn
Row 4-21: repeat rows 2 and 3
Row 22: sc across all.
Leave it as is and tie off and weave in the ends. Or use your favorite edging. Crab Stitch around with 2 in the corners.
Make a matching scrubby to go with your washcloth and it makes a nice gift set for a friend.
